Not to brag, but I do have a few items from Madewell to make my bedsharing life more fun. …They’re all scrunchies.

Of course I would love to add more variety to my Madewell collection, but we both know that it’s often tough for moms like us to justify the price tag.

But! Madewell is having a 25% off sale between now and May 30!

So this would be the time to find an item or two to kick off June! If you’ve got a really little one, and you’ll likely be indoors most of the summer, add something new to your body or your family bedroom to make the best of the situation.

Here are a handful of items I bookmarked when I ravaged the Madewell website this afternoon as a jumping off point!

Let’s begin with said scrunchies. I have another blog post devoted to the obscure-but-essential safety guideline that you need to tie back your long hair when bedsharing. (Long hair can be a strangulation risk for your baby.) I love Madewell’s scrunchies because they keep my thick hair contained without being so tight that they cause a headache. Here’s an oversized bow that will spice up your loungewear look, and a cotton 3-pack. And I love this one that comes with a headband and a carrying case, too. Perfect to keep on your pillow or bedsharing basket, so you won’t forget to use it.

Speaking of your loungwear look, here are possibly the softest sweatshirt and matching sweatpants. (You may want to size down — apparently they run a little bit big.) No idea why, but this cute, drawstring top is only $9.99! And these joggers are cool enough to wear out and about, if you can leave the house.

Okay, so what if you can’t leave the house? Let’s work on making your home more beautiful (more bearable, at the minimum). Here’s a cotton throw blanket you can leave on the couch for contact naps. This soy wax candle comes in three scents and should burn for 50 hours. That is a lot of afternoons on the couch, my friend.

If you’re one with chilly feet, these cozy socks will certainly keep you warm. My blog post on how to stay warm while bedsharing in the cold has a whole section on the importance of socks. Or you could add some serious swagger to your daytime look by padding around the house in these leopard print slippers.

Whatever you choose, whether from Madewell or Target or Amazon or Etsy or the local small business up the road, I hope you can occasionally treat yourself to something to help brighten this season of life. <3
